Rural Voices Wins Two Gold Medals at the 2020 Nautilus Book Awards

Well, this is pretty cool. RURAL VOICES has received TWO Nautilus Awards, a Gold for best Mid-Grade Fiction and The Overall Best of Mid-Grade AND YA Fiction!

The Nautilus Awards celebrate and honor books that support conscious living & green values, high-level wellness, positive social change & social justice, and spiritual growth.

Congratulations to Nora Shalaway Carpenter and to all my fellow contributors!

Previous winners of the Nautilus Book Award range from writers like Barbara Kingsolver, Louise Erdrich, and Barry Lopez to thinkers and social activists like Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Judy Collins, Marianne Williamson, and the Dalai Lama!

So yeah, that's a thing that happened.
